Privacy Policy

• Your mobile number — used to sign you in via a one-time code. We don't store a password; your phone number is your identity on the platform.
• Your location — either precise coordinates from your browser or device (if you grant permission, or tap “use my current location”) or a place you search for manually. This is what powers distance-based browsing and is required to post a listing — an ad with no location could never appear in anyone's search.
• What you post — listing titles, descriptions, prices, category-specific details, photos, and the locality text you enter.
• Basic usage data — standard server logs (timestamps, error traces) generated by hosting infrastructure, not tied to individual browsing behaviour we actively analyse.

We use a small number of first-party cookies, all functional (no ad tracking):

• A session cookie that keeps you signed in
• Cookies that remember your selected browsing location (latitude, longitude, and a display label) so distance-based search works without re-asking every visit

We use a small number of service providers to run ixideal.com — we don't sell data to anyone:

• Supabase hosts our database, handles authentication, and stores uploaded photos.
• Twilio delivers the SMS text containing your one-time login code.
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim resolves a location search or a GPS coordinate into a place name — used only for the search you initiate, and called from our server, not directly from your browser.

Your listing content — title, price, description, photos, and general locality — is public by design; that's how a classifieds marketplace works. Your exact phone number and precise coordinates are not shown to other users.

Listings expire automatically after the duration your plan allows (30 days on the Free plan) and are marked expired rather than immediately deleted. Account and location data is kept for as long as your account exists.

You can deny or revoke location permission in your browser at any time — ixideal.com falls back to a default city-level location rather than failing. There's no self-service “delete my account” option in the product yet; to request deletion of your data, contact us using the details on the homepage and we'll handle it manually.

ixideal.com isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy as ixideal.com changes — for example, once messaging or image-heavy features expand what we store. We'll update the date at the top when we do.
